HEY, honey, what's the buzz in a city where modern life has an increasing hive mentality? As more people colonise in high-rise fashion, it can be hard to stretch your wings, and even a night out at a popular restaurant has more the mood of a swarm than something sweet. Sticky moments abound.Well, bee-auty is in the eye of the bee-holder. Thousands of Melbourne's newest residents are feeling pleezed to be living in such close quarters. Bees, that is. Smoking indoors might be a no-no, but smoking on rooftops is taking off, as inner-city farmers tend their herds of money-making honey-makers.The only sting in the tail is an invasion of feral Asian bees: these bikers of beedom are heading Down Under to raid hives and bull-ee our honey bees out of their bount-ee.
